Product Designer Job in Harrison, OH

We are recruiting for a Product Designer to fill a need with a client located in the Harrison, Ohio area. Responsibilities • Independent development of designs with engineering analysis • Create design layouts • Complete file back-ups and file maintenance • Work with machine shop and RP suppliers to complete prototypes and samples • Design fixtures for testing of products • Correspond with suppliers to ensure design integrity • Create sound models using advanced features of Solid Edge software • Handle multiple projects concurrently • Contribute in team-orientated environment • Research solutions to design problems • Work with Industrial Designer to create product concepts • Performing other duties as key skills Required • Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology • six years background in design and product development • Advanced Solid Edge background • Manufacturing background and background in the use of sheet metal, castings and plastics • Effective oral and written correspondence abilities • Excellent people skills, and strong analytical and issue solving abilities This is a direct opportunity.
